A Tribute to “The Rat”

By Jessica Hart

Exciting news for rock and roll fans! The Boston legends, The Nervous Eaters, have just dropped the title track from their upcoming LP, "Rock n Roll Your Heart Away". The full album is set to be released on August 23.

The Nervous Eaters have already released their 10-track album, "Monsters & Angels," under Stevie Van Zandt's label, Wicked Cool Records. Steve Cataldo, the singer, guitarist, songwriter and producer for the band, says, “Where would many bands be today without Mick Jagger and his guitar-slinging partner Keith Richards? If you’re creating art, it’s just in your system and that’s what you do.” Cataldo's dedication to his craft, which he has pursued since a young age, shines through in the band's latest work.

The new single is a soulful, bluesy rock song that is sure to get you moving! The song itself is an emotional tribute to the legendary Boston club “The Rat”, the owner Jimmy Harold, and the vital musical world that was once centred around the Kenmore Square section of the city.

Listening to The Nervous Eaters is like traveling back in a time machine but with new hits! Make sure to check out the full LP on August 23.
