Musician Brian Ray is releasing a new album, “My Town”, on Wicked Cool Records, August 2nd. The LP is featuring many special guests that Ray has made throughout his years as a professional musician with big acts. Some of these guest vocalists include Smokey Robinson, Michael Des Barres,. Scott Shriner, among many more.
Along with the announcement of the LP, a single from the album with a music video has just been released! Brian Ray describes his new single as a, “…romance in a post-truth world.”
Ray is a renowned guitarist, having been playing in Paul McCartney’s band since 2002 and as a former guitarist and music director for Etta James. Even though he’s worked with such talented individuals he still appreciates being able to release solo works.
“As rich as my experiences have been playing and writing for others, there’s nothing quite like writing, producing, and playing for your own solo releases.”
