I introduce to you, Kansas City’s shoegaze/Dangerpop (that’s the new term!) band RxGhost, that has released a music video for their single, “Candles”, off their new album, “Scaffolding.”

The album is full of great folk-punk songs, catchy guitar melodies, and hard-hitting lyrics that represent the anger in the way the world is and has always been.

One of the singles on the album, “123”, also has a music video shot at Coney Island! The video was shot in a day, after having just finished a USA Northeast coast tour.

As is Tep No’s way, his smooth vocals, simple but emotionally gripping lyrics, and catchy melodies, will leave many of these songs stuck in your head.

Taking their teenage rebellion and creating energetic songs with catchy lyrics, bringing me back to my own teen years of house party bands and head banging.

The record was produced at Buzzbomb Studios under the guidance of the talented Paul Miner (known for his work with bands like New Found Glory, Atreyu, and Thrice).

The breaks and soft sounds build to expose her emotional depths into feelings of heartbreak, grief and loss.

Ray is a renowned guitarist, having been playing in Paul McCartney’s band since 2002 and as a former guitarist and music director for Etta James. Even though he’s worked with such talented individuals he still appreciates being able to release solo works.

The new single is a soulful, bluesy rock song that is sure to get you dancing! The song itself is an emotional tribute to the legendary Boston club “The Rat”, the owner Jimmy Harold, and the vital musical world that was once centred around the Kenmore Square section of the city.

With how hard this first single hits, I can’t wait to hear the melodic punk riffs and powerful lyrics they are planning to release on the full album in the Fall!
