Never Too Young to Break Stuff

By Jessica Hart

This new generation is really something! Meet teen pop-punk band Halfway to Neptune, hailing from Southern California. Taking their teenage rebellion and creating energetic songs with catchy lyrics, bringing me back to my own teen years of house party bands and head banging.

Just dropping their debut EP, “On These Walls”, now available everywhere! As well as a music video premiere of their first single off the album “Watch Me Burn”. You can watch the music video HERE.

‘Watch Me Burn’ is about moving on from people who have hurt you and realizing you are so much more than their words. We wanted to make a video that shows different sides of the band, including some behind the scenes practices, songwriting, and hanging out. We have all been friends for a while (the drummer and bassist since kindergarten), so we wanted to highlight some of those connections.

Formed in 2022, these young up and comers ranging from ages 14-17 draw in audiences of all ages with their high energy performances and inspiration from pop-punk of yesteryear. Madison’s vocals are so powerful for someone so young. This band has years to build-up their sound and I’m here for it!
